I know there are a lot of movies you could go see this year…but Dyab Baba, written and directed by Raynald Delerme, is one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in years. The movie is full of the elements that make a good comedy. There is a good script, hilarious characters, funny story, physical comedy mixed.
Although it was a little too long, Dyab Baba is an instant classic. The movie is comedy for the entire time. Not only is the movie clever and original, it’s also hilarious. This movie will not disappoint you at all.
Funnier than I expected it to be.

The gang story started to bore me a little bit but at the end I like how Baba merged the 2 stories together.
It’s not the best Haitian movie but the funniest I’ve seen in a while. Great Job Baba. Keep up the good work!

This is why we can’t go any further in this industry, a movie like that should be scheduled for premiere in Orlando, N.Y., Montreal, Port-au-Prince, Bahamas, & Les Antilles… That’s the way to make money, but unfortunately everybody is waiting to make a copy. I give a big Shout out to BABA for doing this work for so long and still doing it big. BABA should be honored now not when he’s dead.

hello there,i think you guys are the best in this industry and all but,i’m sick and tired to see the same face all the time.specially those girls that playing in birth of an assassin come on give a break. i’m not a hater but, it is ,what it is.tell them they need to take a break off this site.seriously you guys most informed them of that problem.the dyab baba movie was very good i enjoyed it though.

@Montreal
Dyab baba already played in Port-au-Prince and I’m sure Baba will try to show it in other countries.
Great come back Raynald

The most effective Haitian comedy to come around in quite some time.

There are some hysterically funny bits, but the switch back to the gang parts sometimes kills the laughter. Most of if should go on “deleted scenes” on the DVD.
