Interview with rising star Farah Alcide

Movie Lakay caught up with Haitian’s rising actress Farah Alcide while she was visiting Miami.

Born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Farah’s acting abilities were discovered when she attended her first successful audition and participated in her first Haitian film Lanmou Infini in 2009.

In Lanmou Infini, Farah shows off her sexy side as the woman who tempts the lead actor’s married man character into thinking about cheating in the romantic comedy film. Farah told Movie Lakay that she is very grateful and she enjoys acting with Lanmou Infini cast and crew.

“They are incredible stars, and even when we are not on set, they keep it real and [are] good people.”

The Haitian movie industry has improved tremendously in the past decade. While their movies have not reached the level of professionalism that it ought to reach but as a haitian I can say that I am proud of the progress we have made thus far. To encourage the progress toward the professional motion pictures that the haitian movie industry is after, a little constructive criticism can be a positive thing. I have to say that I am disappointed with the level of professionalism in this interview. The interviewer did not present himself professionally. The background and the lighting could have been improve to give the interview a more professional appeal. I am looking forward to the professional advancement of movielakay and wish all involved Good luck.

one smokin’ hot chick! hopefully you wont turn out to be like Midelene lubin and start making crazy movies. Most directors out there flirt with you before they can give you a leading role. I hope to see more of you cuz no where in your movie trailer i see your face.

    good luck

It is so true Arold. Some of those directors be hitting up on the actresses. Not cool at all. Be professional at all times—come on man… stop this ish. Anyway–she looks great—good luck and stay positive. one
