Monchè m poko wè fim-nan, men mwen tande pale de li, bon bagay sèlman.
Yo fèm konnen ke li lòt nivo. Sa fèm kontan anpil poum wè yon Ayisyen parèy mwen k’ap leve Sinema Lakay-la. Nou bezwen-w MECHAN DOU.
Konsèy map ba-w : Fè atansyon ak bann’ vòlè k’ap tann’ lè fim moun soti pou yo fè piyay. Veye yo. Nou menm nan MONT-REAL nou met baryè pou yo.
Map fè tout mwayen posib mwen pou-m rantre Miami 25 Jiyè-a.

Depi kilè ou nan fè fim?
    Poukisa se kounye-a ou parèt?
Eske se paske pa gen sinema Ayiti ankò kifè ou vin Miami ak Mechan Dou?
Eske-w panse wap fè kòb ou depanse-a?
Eske wap pwodwi lòt fim ankò?

This is an intelligent work of art, filmmaking is an art and Mr. Calixte has proven that putting time and effort into such project will result in a movie that will entertain, and not disappointing to viewers. I think it’s about time that Haitian filmmakers learn from Mr. Calixte. Keep up the good work, Wesner!

Mechan Dou pa okipe yo. Le Se pa LALA se Bob is back, kounye-a se Mechan Dou. Pa OQP-yo. Mont real konnen Mechan Dou #1 fim aksyon. La’p pran anpil tan avan pou nou we yon fim tankou Mechan Dou; yo pap gen ke pou yo depanse tout lajan sa yo ak preparasyon sa yo pou fe yon fim. Se bagay 2-3 mwa yo konn fe.

  • joanne

sa se on film tou, thiiiuuuupss, mezanmi sispann fe grimas tande.

  • an observer

For an amateur filmmaker, Mr. Calixte is way ahead than most…he directed, produced, acted in the movie, and also produced his own soundtrack. What impressed me is that he filmed this movie entirely in the streets of Haiti, trained people how to act, used all the resources he could use…if only people out there could appreciate his efforts in making this movie and stop being envious, and learn the art of filmmaking, then there will be more good Haitian movies being produced. It is a fact that some people out there are so eager to make the money, which could be the reason why films are being produced in such a short time, and people could not wait to get hold of the original DVD and resell copies(a common practice in the community). But this is not a good way to keep the Haitian cinema business going…..Mr. Calixte, keep up the good work and hopefully some talented producers and directors will open their eyes and realize that it takes time, effort and skills to produce an excellent movie.
