60 fps? Wow! I guess I have a lot to learn. I always knew that there were 24 frames in every second of film. Technology must have changed. Hatekiller, please enlighten me and give a reference I could go to to verify the 60 fps. Thanks in advance. In the mean time, Bob, keep it at 24 fps and keep up the good work.

Raynald thank you for setting this guy straight. What’s that 60 frames per second he is talking about. The first thinkg Bob will have to do if he wants to burn his film to 35mm he needs to conform his 24 p video to a 4k through an ursa broad or a Da Vinsci and dump it to a D5 master to get the best quality images. What it means is that he will do some additional colorisation in a transfer room to get the best video quality than he can get his images burnt to a print at 20 frames a minute; that is a process that takes some two weeks to get the entire film of 1 and 1/2 hour printed. Good luck Bob from your good old friend Jacques Roc

I would love to see a collaboration between Lemoine’s insightful understanding of the Haitian culture, the human condition and Roc’s technical expertise. Lemoine has the vision and Roc can bring his vision to the 21st century. Roc’s outstanding first movie: Pluie d’Espoir has certainly earned him the right to wax on all aspects of film making. He wrote, produced, directed, edited, sketched the storyboard and scored the entire work – it is clear they can truly realize great things if Roc teams with Lemoine.
