Like Luimeme said its an intersting trailer …………….Make me want to see the movie…well done

In response to Luimeme’s comment: the movie is in English to appeal to a wider audience. A lot of Haitian films are losing money because we don’t support each other. Booltlegs occurs in the American market too but at least there is a greater chance of turning a profit if it has a wider appeal.

Raoul Peck is by far Haiti’s best and most accomplished Director (“Lumumba”, “Sometimes In April”). I saw his recent film “Molock Tropical”. It was in French, Kreyol and needless to say, it was professionally done. I expected to see a full house but guess what?

It is not the first movie being done in English only I try to understand the point of views of the others that are complaining about the film being done in English, but I don’t see the bad in it they are others done in French and Kreyol the writer decided to write it in English so He did we are trying to better the industry not criticizing it is a well done movie with a good trailer for those of you who don’t understand it I think it’s time to better ourselves as Haitian and try to learn the language after all we live here, please talking about alleluya, ou fait faute etc… I’m not saying that they were no good, but how about the people who do not speak kreyol what do they have to understand the story if all the movies are done in kreyol…….I guess we need all we can have whether its kreyol, French, English it shouldn’t matter what should matter the most are storylines, actors and actresses performances, decor, sound effects …etc

Definitely one of the best Haitian films I’ve seen. The plot was very deep, the acting was excellent. The movie kept me involved and at the edge of my seat. I especially liked the twist early on and at the end. Great job guys!
