Life is hard in America for Papa Pyè & Gracieu. The only way out for Papa Pyè seems to fake himself as the biggest Haitian Boko (Voodou priest) in America. Things start to go well till he gets a visit from a real ghost (Dyab Baba) that he calls in by accident. To make things worst, Papa Pyè does not know how to send the ghost back.

Méchants Cousins retrace l’histoire d’Émilie, une jeune femme très ambitieuse. Copine de Gérald avec qui elle vit. Elle est allée se marie en Haïti et son mari lui a fait toute une surprise en débarquant à Montréal à son insu.

Malgré tout, elle décide de jouer le jeu en prétextant que c’est son cousin. Habile manipulatrice, elle les fait cohabiter en faisant croire à l’un qu’il est le cousin de l’autre. Mais pour combien de temps pourra-t-elle tenir? Arrivera-t-elle à atteindre son objectif qui est de se débarrasser de l’un d’entre eux avant qu’il ne soit trop tard ?

“Jaloufou” is a comedic film telling the story of a man living a wonderful life deeply in love with his wife. As he was sleeping one night, he has a dream which depicts his wife having an affair with his best friend. Although it was just a dream, it seems so real to him and he fails to distinct the conscious mind from the subconscious.

Chaos ensues between a loving couple because of his dream. A well advised friend with a socio-psychological background knowing his friend’s belief suggests he visits a “Voodoo Priest” which is a disguised psychologist to try and overcome the torments of his dreams. Will he be cured of this subconscious torment and live happily ever after with his wife; or will he grow more frustrated and leave her?
