She’s also had major roles in two films and is currently working on her third movie titled “Zanmi the movie” which is scheduled to be released on DVD Spring 2011.

Mallissa is also scheduled to play in a new National sitcome titled “ReaLove” which will be premiering on cable television early 2011. She’s a principle Model in Cash Money/Young Money’s recording artist Lil’ Chuckee’s recent music video titled “Unstoppable”. In her spare time she enjoys singing, dancing, reading, writing poetry,and spending time with family and friends. Mallissa not only has the looks and intelligence to become a successful Model/Actress but is also very ambitious and not to mention her high level of discipline which it takes to make it to the top. Born in Petit-Goave Haiti, Marcuse then moved to Chicago ILLINOIS as a teenager where she attended High School and College. She also attended Robert Morris University, earned a double major, and graduated with a bachelor in Telecommunications Management and Minor in Computer Network.

Soon after college she started thinking about modeling and research the industry to see if it’s something worth considering. Later that year she decided to leave her hometown, and move to Connecticut where she attended John Casablanca’s Modeling and Career center in Warwick, Rhode Island.

Marcuse found a new love for acting and was curious to know if she has what it takes to make it. In 2007, she decided to give it a try and felt right at home. Ever since then she’s been unstoppable. You may have seen her in different Haitian Movies such as Mauvais Detour 1&2; she also starred in the movie Vye Jes. Her most recent project is Se Fot Mwen with Jean Claude Guillaume and Le Retour d’un Soldat produced by Guy Cantave.

Marcuse is eager to work with other talented professionals in the Entertainment Industry. She’s looking forward to featuring in few magazine coming out later this year or early next year. She has a lot in store for next year just stay tuned and see what this talent has to bring to the table.

Some of the biggest films Simon played in are “Bad Boys 2″ Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, “Salt”, “Monica et les 2 Salopards”, “Just Another Day” with Trick Daddy and Ja Rule, “Le Retour d’un Soldat”  by Guy Cantave -  and many more big American and Haitian films.

Simon’s most recent projects are currently in production and on their way to entertain the world– two feature films called “Vengeance”  and “Tragedy of a Mother and Son”  and a musical single called “Can’t Live Without You”.

Simon was born and raised in Haiti, where he began his acting career. He moved miles from home to the United States to continue and expand his dreams in the Entertainment Industry, by embarking upon several more projects. Simon is not just a celebrity, he is a caring person at heart. With numerous films under his belt, Jean-Claude is making his mark on the industry. He is an uncommonly gifted actor whose range of emotions rivals the best in the business. Raised in a strict household in Brooklyn, New York, by a father who was a Pastor, Jean-Claude learned discipline early on.  He has channeled that into his acting and delivers with sniper precision.

She went on continuing her secondary school in West Charlotte High School; and after graduating moved to Florida where she attended South Eastern University and majored in Business Administration.

It was in High School that she made her first stage appearance in the school version of the popular Broadway show ‘Grease’. She was acclaimed for her performance by the Performing Arts Department at her school. Even tough many years passed without her thinking about getting back on a stage, the evolution of Haitian Cinema had soon engage her into developing that talent again. Carline was very cautious about whom she would work to make her debut in Haitian Cinema. So when given the opportunity to play a role in ‘The green card’ a film by Jean Gardy Bien-Aimé, Carline opt to give it a try; thus made it her first movie role.

Carline always had a passion for writing, so after that working experience with Jean Gardy Bien-aimé in the green card, she trusted him to direct her first project ‘Destiny’ a film she wrote with the assistance of Betty Lemite (Inedit, Destiny); also starring Mecca (kidnappings), and Marlena Tores (Division). Carline wanted to explore her talent beyond the Haitian Film industry; she wanted to move up to an International scale; so when Nigerian movie Producer Samuel Adeyoye summoned for Haitian actors to merge with the Nigerians in a project; Carline was the actress of choice. She held a significant role playing opposing Omotola (Nigerian actress), Van Vicker (Ghanaian actor), and our well known Reginald Lubin, in the movie ‘Mindgame’ directed by John Uche.

With 2 major roles under her belt, and having worked with well known actors and directors; Carline is ready to take the industry by storm. Although now she is focusing on writing, and plan to continue staring in her own projects; Carline will always welcome any good projects, for her main goal is to contribute to Haitian Cinema.

When not behind the camera; Carline enjoys spending quality time with her family and close friends.

Her passion for performing arts started at the early age of 10. She would organize talent shows and perform plays right on her front porch to entertain her neighbors in the small town of Pestel where she used to spend her summer vacations. It wasn’t a surprise when she moved to Massachusetts that she continued performing as a dancer; she was the second member of the super Duo ‘Dance Machine’ and performed opening acts in local shows and school events. She initiated the Haitian Cultural Club at the High School she attended and was the coordinator of all their cultural events.

She returned in the scene as a TV host for ‘Bouquet Dominical’, then ‘Team Venus Productions’ for many years until 2009. She is currently hosting her own entertainment TV show called ‘Parantez’ a popular show aired every Sunday in Boston. She appeared in the Music videos of Haitian artist Ricardo ‘I wanna love you’, the Capeverdean Artist Chandhino ‘Milana’, the sensational Haitian artist Barbara Cajuste ‘vre lanmou’. She is also the face for ‘Manmzel Products’ and appears in a video commercial with Nickenson Prud’homme.

Her debut in acting started in 2007 with a voice over; she did the voice of the lead actress Yulisa in the Creole version of the film ‘Struggle’ translated into ‘Chèché la vi’ a film by Widmack Belot. She then appeared as Sarah in ‘Inedit’ a film by Gerard Nadere, with Blondedy Ferdinand lead actress. Her biggest role was the character of Sheila, in the movie directed by Jean Gardy Bien-aimé ‘Destiny’ in which she co-starred with Mecca aka Grimo (Kidnappings), and Carline Kenol (Green card, Mindgame).

Aside from acting Betty enjoys dancing, cooking, traveling, screenplay writing; a lot of her time also goes into planning and promoting events. Although she’s a Health care professional; Betty is devoting her time into acting and wishes to evolve her talents in different aspects of the Haitian Cinema.

“There’s only one life to live; so I have to enjoy and exploit all the simplest things it offers, including my talents. I like expressing myself in every way that I can, and I found that writing/ acting allows me to express myself through characters; it brings a sense of happiness and freedom. I will continue to do what makes me happy as long I maintain my dignity and integrity”. This is her philosophy.

Sheba’s non-profit organization See The World- Save The World, Inc. helps raise funds for charity groups and non-profits through online travel purchases and donations. As a Social Activist, Sheba’s works entail presiding as Chair on the board of the Greater Haitian American Chamber of Commerce and playing the role of Organizer for Change with SEIU, headquartered in Washington D.C.- helping to raise standards for service workers who struggle to make a living. Sheba has served as an avid columnist and freelance writer of the Florida Caribbean Sun Newspaper and the HSDA Observer, and has had publications in over 80 different magazines and newspapers world-wide.

Marjory Sheba is an inspiration and having triumphed over many adversities in her youth, she is a fine example of one who did “Escape from oppression through self-expression”. She is an advocate of peace and a lover of wisdom; a “Conscience-guided” poet whose truth-telling poems and motivational speeches can move a crowd of thousands! At a very young age, she has always had a strong desire to help people, a childhood desire that would not only influence but carve her career path in the medical field. She is currently pursuing a master degree as a Physician Assistant in Touro College. Farah finds joy in the simplest things in life. She stands for love and unity. On her spare time, she can often be found painting, drawing or capturing the best of nature’s photographic images.

She enjoys music, which has been a source of inspiration and motivation throughout her life. She can also be found at local hospitals and humanitarian organizations volunteering her time to help others. She feels fulfilled and blessed that she is able to serve the public and provide care to those in needs.

Farah’s acting abilities were discovered when she attended her first successful audition and participated in her first Haitian film “Lanmou Infini” in 2009. Having discovered this new ability, she has since decided to explore it and pursue acting in the Haitian film industry. With such platform, she hopes that she could positively contribute to the Haitian community. Farah is very grateful and feels blessed to have caring, loving, and supportive family and friends around her.
