i think the movie could have been better in creole their accent was too thick and these women need to do more than just be naked on film not tastefull to the lead role stop playing the same role ladies challenge your self i can always expect the type of role for the girl in the gold dress to wear so challenge your self

  • c.c

give the haitian viewer more credit we need more from the leading lady than just to show her butt

  • dodeline

This message is for c.c i bet you don’t say that when u watching those african movies, half the movie you can’t even understand one words but when it’s a haitian movie you have an issue with the accent.. Wow! The movie is great just the way it is guys keep doing your thang and let the haterz keep hating..

assasin you did your thing ,you capture what the haitian people said that we cannot do. now you did the work you prove to every haitian outhere that we can produce movies as for me i’m part of 2bfilm i went i learned and now it’s time to make change so to all the assasins crew i give you guy a big bouya keep up the good work and be on the lookout for the next movie.from 2bfilm call kiss of death.directed by JOEBAMA.

  • Fedou

This message is for c.c also. When someone have accent, for American people it proves them that person speaks another language.Jackie Chen has an accent,Arnold Schwarzenegger has one and so many more. Why we usually appreciate the Jamaican accent, we even imitate them but when it comes to Haitian you have an Issue.Everyone did a great in Assassin.

I rate this movie 5/10. Overall i feel my rating is fair. First of all, the storyline was just off, i mean all over the place. I was not drawn into the film, i just couldn’t feel it. Certain parts and the ending of the film was just to predictable. The sex scene…..oh lawd let me not even go there. Secondly, the acting was over rated like tone it down a notch or two. Third, we’re in 2009 i expected more from the leading lady not just nudity…girlfriend, upgrade.

I left the theater like w.T.H! Next, the lighting in the film was poor. Most of the film was pitched black, i couldn’t see the sun even if was coming down like a falling star. Lastly, it would have been nice to hear them speak a little creole on the film. In all fairness it was ok. I will continue to support the Haitian movie industry, kudos to all who made the film a reality.

I AGREE WITH FEDOU—HAVING AN ACCENT ONLY PROVES THAT SOMEONE SPEAKS ANOTHER LANGUAGE OR ORIGINATES FROM A DIFFERENT COUNTRY. SOME HAITIANS NEED TO STOP CRITICIZE ONE ANOTHER BECAUSE OF THEIR CREOLE ACCENT. SO WHAT! THERE ARE COUNTLESS GREAT ACTORS IN HOLLYWOOD WHO HAVE ACCENTS—THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT THEY ARE ABLE TO ACT UPON THEIR ROLES. PLEASE PEOPLE START TO APPRECIATE EACH OTHER’S EFFORTS AND PRAISE EACH OTHER. GOD BLESS!
