I contacted Mr.  Raynald Delerme on Facebook because Movie Lakay’s fans were wondering if he is retiring. Here is what he told us:

“Well, let everyone know that we have a new association of Haitian filmmakers in the US now, the Haitian Association of Filmmakers of which I am the president and CEO. Our website is www.thehaaf.org if they want more information. As for me, I am working on my new project called ‘DYABBABA” staring myself, Papa pyè, Gracieu, Marjorie Renaud, Marc anthony Delerme and more.  Should be out this summer.”

The HAITIAN AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF FILMMAKERS (HAAF) is a non-profit organization officially registered in the US in the State of Florida. Its principal mission is to promote and educate Haitian Filmmakers through showcasing, research and production assistance.
