Filmmaker Raynald Delerme Brings New Ways to Identify Piracy DVDs
Posted on: July 24, 2010 | No comments yet
The president of the Haitian American Association of Filmmakers (HAAF) Raynald Delerme announced on Friday that an embossed seal, which will appear on the cover of his upcoming DVDs, will help customers know that they are purchasing authentic DVDs from his organization.
The embossed seal will be placed on the lower right corner of the DVD case, and it guarantees the DVD’s authenticity. If the seal is not embossed or not shown, the president asks to report it to the HAAF at 305.942.8348.
The president also mentioned that the other main way to tell a copy is that the underside of the disk is not silver, but will be a different color such as purple.
