The Heavenly Side of Hell Filmed in Grand Goave

Haiti has recently become one of the hot filming locations for Tutu Demosthene’s new movie.

The cast and crew of ‘The Heavenly Side of Hell’, including lead actors Tony Delerme, Tico Armand, Michelle Georges, set off for Haiti two weeks ago to shoot the film. It is said that the first portion of the film was shot in Grand-Goâve while the second half was shot at various picturised locations in Haiti.

‘The Heavenly Side of Hell’ is an action thriller produced by Medgine and directed by Tutu Demosthene. According to a source, lead actor Tony Delerme (son of Raynald Delerme) has apparently decided to perform all the action stunts and fight sequences without using a body double.

The film features model Tico Armand who will pump in all the glamour required to attract the masses.

Fashion stylist Waina Chancy also went to Haiti with the production crew. It’s gotta be good being in Tutu’s movie. You get to star in a movie with beautiful people and now get to spend the summer in Haiti. Some people just have all the luck!

The staff of Bouya Film is wrapping up filming of the final scenes of ‘The Heavently Side of Hell’ in Miami sometimes this month.

Grand Goâve is a city in the Ouest Department of southwestern Haiti. The town is one of the oldest cities of the country, and was named Goâve by the Amerindians. The Spanish called it Aguava at the end of the 16th century. After French colonization through the releasing of the Spanish, the French divided the city into two halves, Grand-Goâve and Petit-Goâve.

Grand Goâve was 90% destroyed by the 7.0 earthquake of January 12, 2010.
